More from Ballito Bay

After breakfast we again walked on the boardwalk to find the Internet Cafe to finish what we had started the previiouse day.

The campground had a pleasant litle jungle walk and a reident group of monkeys. We didn't see any on the walk but did see many in the campground.

The next day we boarded a tour bus early and went on a less then memorable tour of Durban where we visited the Indian market and shopped. The Zulu market which would have been more interesting is more private and does not encourage vistors who need guards and are made to feel unwelcome. After the market we whent to a demonstration Zulu Villasge owned by whites for lunch, a cultural experience meeting some "Zulu people" I suppose who explained a few things, showed there tradiutionasl huts and performed a courtship dance.

Lunch was supposed to be a traditional Zulu meal but was more like chiken and beef stew. They didn't even have enough food or desert for the entire group. We also saw some captive crocodiles and snakes before returning to the bus and the campground. At the campground we went back to the restarant for coffee and desert. Some of our group also went out for dinner but we had had enough food for the day.
